The BioBasic™ AX HPLC Column (5 µm, 250 × 4.6 mm) is a high-performance anion exchange chromatography (AX) column designed for the separation and analysis of proteins, peptides, highly polar compounds, nucleotides, and other anionic biomolecules. Featuring polyethyleneimine (PEI) ion-exchange ligands bonded to ultrapure deactivated silica, the column delivers excellent selectivity, high recovery, and reproducible chromatographic performance for demanding analytical applications.

With a 5 µm particle size, 300 Å pore size, and 250 mm × 4.6 mm analytical format, the BioBasic™ AX column provides high-resolution separations while maintaining low hydrophobic interactions, making it particularly suitable for biomolecule purification and characterization. It is compatible with anion exchange chromatography, normal phase chromatography, and Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography (HILIC) methods.
